Thoughtful Book on What is happening to Ethnic Minorities--Indians and Afro-Descent Groups, in Central America

This book's introduction is particularly helpful for understanding what is going on in Central America still today. Are people's hábitats being destroyed so that they can not continue their culture or even their ability to live is threatened without the resources that were traditionally in their eco-systems? Are people themselves in danger of being killed because of having a minority culture? Resoundingly yes, answer the authors who each have decades of research experience in the area. The case studies include Highlands Mesoamerican Indians, Afro-Caribbean peoples, and Indian rainforest dwellers, many of whose situations have indeed become more dire since the book was written,
